(Persia Digest) – Pictures of the recent floods taken by Iranian photographers will go on show on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival and the Iranian Cultural Center in Paris.

The photos have been taken by 28 photographers and the expo is titled ‘Hameh ja baraye hameh’ [Everywhere for everyone].

The photos have been selected by Babak Borzuyeh and Heidar Rezaei. They depict the difficulties created by the recent floods in the provinces of Golestan, Lorestan, and Khuzestan which were further exacerbated by the US preventing humanitarian help from getting to the flood victims from abroad under the pretext of sanctions.

A workshop has also been planned for the artists at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday 24 May on photography and photography of crisis in Iran.
