(Persia Digest) – The Spokesperson for Iran’s emergency services has said: “Following recent atmospheric conditions (floods, lightening, storms) between 29-31 May, 31 people have lost their lives and 71 have been injured.”

According to Mojtaba Khaledi, flash floods killed six people and injured 12, lightening killed 25 and injured 39, and storms injured 20 people across Iran.

Persia Digest (PD) reports that most provinces across Iran have been suffering rainstorms and floods throughout the spring this year, and the situation is still ongoing.
