(Persia Digest) – The director general of Iran Computer and Video Games Foundation has said a new edition of video games competitions with extensive changes and improvements will be held in the country.
According to Sadegh Pejman, during the past four years, the event was held under the title of “Computer Games League”. However, the title has now changed to “Iran Games Cup.”
Referring to the variety of video games in this round of the competitions, Pejman said: “In order to diversify the games, two or three new fields have been added to the competitions in various genres enabling the players to contest in Iran’s largest video games.”
Iran’s Video Games Cup will be held across the country in cooperation with various organizations including the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, Association of Electronic Games, and local departments of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
