(Persia Digest) – The National Army Day Parade in Iran took place in the capital, adjoining Imam Khomeini’s mausoleum, on Wednesday morning in the presence of President Hassan Rouhani, Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, and top army and police official, and a group of military attachés from overseas.
Celebrating the 40th anniversary of the army, various missile, artillery, and command and control systems were put on display.
The command and control system is for use in operations and air defense, with the potential to collect information on radars, signals intelligence, and so on, by processing received data to carry out air defenses. This has been designed entirely by Iranian engineers.
The “Kamin 2” missile system is a short-range air defense to deal with unmanned drones flying at low altitude. This has been designed, built, and upgraded by Iranian engineers in accordance with the latest technologies.
