(Persia Digest) – A cooperation agreement to transfer experience and knowledge of the dairy industry for export purposes to European countries has been signed between Iran Dairy Industries and the European Dairy Association.
As per this agreement, the EU will exchange scientific and empirical experience on the quality improvement of raw milk and the compliance of Iranian dairy products with EU standards (CE), so that Iranian dairy products can be exported to this union and other countries in the world.
Another focus of this agreement is the transfer of EU experiences in increasing the consumption of dairy products per capita in Iranian households.
The exchange of experience and scientific knowledge regarding the milk supply chain and the exchange of students and experts in the dairy industry is also part of this agreement.
As reported by Persia Digest, a delegation of 70 economic representatives from Europe headed by Phil Hogan, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, traveled to Iran on Saturday 11 November 2017.
The delegation came to Iran to review existing capacities and increase trade cooperation, especially in the agricultural sector. In addition to the recent agreement, the two sides also signed other cooperation agreements and MoUs.
