(Persia Digest) - Latun Waterfall, the highest four season waterfall near the beautiful Spinas Mountain in Astara, is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Guilan.
Latun Waterfall, which a drop of 105 meters, is the highest four season waterfall in the country. This waterfall is located 15 km south of Astara in west Guilan Province, and the most convenient way to reach it is through the city of Lavandavil to the village of Kuteh Kumeh (Kuteh Kumeh hot spring) and then the deserted village of Asyo Shuwan.
To reach Latun Waterfall, you must first go to the city of Lavandavil along the Talesh-Astara road, then take a side road to the south. After a few kilometers you will reach the village of Kuteh Kumeh. Then you should walk on a trail for about 6 km in the beautiful forests of the region.
The lush mountainous path, covered with tall forest trees along with the ever flowing Lavandavil River are among the unique features of this waterfall, which attracts thousands of people from all over the country and around the world every year.
