(Persia Digest) - The Cantor Church is the smallest church in Iran and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Qazvin which belongs to the followers of the Orthodox religion.
The church, which was built on Darayi Street in an area called Cantor during World War II, has a cruciform plan which is clearly visible upon entrance.
Due to the haste in constructing the church, it was built as a small structure and without ornaments.
Because of the great importance of dawn for Christians, the church's altar is built towards the east; this style is observed in the construction of most churches. The Cantor Church has two rooms, the room on the right is the baptism chamber and the room on the left is the priest's room.
