(Persia Digest) - Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team with 7 medals and 181 points ranked first in the Asian Championships which is underway in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.

IRNA  reports that the Iranian squad with 4 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze medals and 181 points won the event.

This is while, Kazakhstan with 175 points ranked second.

Iran’s Hojjat Rezaei in 65kg weight category received a gold medal.

In 71kg weight category, Reza Saki snatched a silver medal.

Amir Reza Deh Bozorgi in 48kg, Saeed Esmaili in 51 kg and Saeed Karimizade in 92 kg also received gold medals.

Iranian wrestlers Danial Sohrabi in 60kg and Shahrokh Mikaeilizadeh in 110kg grabbed bronze medals.
