(Persia Digest) - Gabriel Calderón, the new manager of Persepolis FC and the former Argentina national football team player, visited Ali Parvin, the popular former Persepolis player, on Sunday and gifted him withthe Argentina National Team number seven jersey.

Ali Parvin, who showed support for the new manager of Persepolis in this meeting, used to play for Persepolis - wearing number seven - from 1970 to 1987 and was its manager for many years.

Calderón said he was pleased to be supported by someone like Parvin in Persepolis.

Branko Ivanković, who was the manager of Persepolis for four years and who made the team the premiere league's champion for three consecutive years, has parted ways with Persepolis recently and Argentina's Calderón has been appointed as the team's new manager instead.
