(Persia Digest) – Iran and the EU intend to expand cooperation between researchers in Iran, the EU, and with the European Research Council, in the landscape of a 2020 Program.
At the third high-level meeting between Iran and the European Union, and at the meeting between the Deputy Minister of Science in International Affairs of Iran and Deputy Director General of the European Commission on Research and Innovation, Iran announced its readiness to attract students from Europe.
New technologies, health and medicine, and climate change have been announced as three priority areas for cooperation between Iran and the European Union by the Deputy Minister of Science in International Affairs.
At the meeting, the two sides investigated areas for the development of joint cooperation. Deputy Director General, Patrick Anthony Child, also announced that the EU was ready for cooperation between Iranian and EU researchers in the landscape of a 2020 Program and with the European Research Council.
