(Persia Digest) – A Qeshm Air plane which had to be grounded in Paris due to technical difficulties has flown home after the faulty part was sent to Paris from Tehran. According to the Association of Iranian Airlines (AIRA) Secretary, European airports are refusing to provide services to Iranian fleets due to sanctions.

Maghsoud As’adi-Samani stated that according to ramp inspections on aircraft used by third country operators (SAFA), the Qeshm Air plane was grounded at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport for a technical fault. He added: “The required part was sent from Tehran to Paris for repairs.”

It must be noted that SAFA will ground any airplanes which are deemed dangerous to fly.
