(Persia Digest) – Majour kadou is a home cooked meal from the provincial capital of Kerman in southern Iran. It is easy to make at good value.

The dish can be served with a variety of preferred sauces, bread, and vegetables.

Ingredients (serves 4)

½ kg Courgettes

2 Eggs

2 tbsp Wheat flour

2-3 tbsp chopped dill weed

150g Feta cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Wash and grate the courgettes. Add the eggs and mix well.

Mix the dill and wheat flour and add to the courgette mixture.

Grate the cheese and mix well with the salt and pepper and add to the mixture.

Oil an oven dish, pour in the mixture and cook for half an hour at 200˚C until the surface is golden.

Garnish with your favorite sauce and vegetables before serving.
