(Persia Digest) – Iranian composer and conductor, maestro Loris Tjeknovarian, and famed piano player, Bardia Sadre-Nouri, will unveil their first international performance together at the accreditation ceremony of known Iranian clothes designer, Edna Zeinalian.
Speaking about the project, Loris Tjeknovarian said: “This is a joint project in experimental music that I have called ‘Dialogue between two brothers’. It includes new performances of the works of Komitas Vardapet and myself with a string orchestra. Bardia Sadre-Nouri will play the piano.”
He added: “I believe this project will link East and West music and we will certainly expand it if it is successful.”
Piano soloist, Bardia Sadre-Nouri, also said: “The performance will be at the accreditation ceremony of lady Endan Zeinalian. It is part of an international art project in the fusion genre of music and performance focusing on the piano.”
He added: “The project is aiming to benefit from the common language of music and art in bringing people and cultures closer together and highlight the ability to play Iranian music on the piano and present it in a new space on a global scale.”
Persia Digest (PD) reports that the accreditation ceremony of opera and theater clothes designer, Edna Zeinalian, will be held on Wednesday 14 August 2019 in Vahdat Hall at 21h30. The Edna Zeinalian Badge for stage and clothes design will also be unveiled.
