(Persia Digest) – There is a mulberry tree in Iran’s Alborz Province which experiences summer in one half and an early autumn in the other due to temperature fluctuations on either side.
As of today, there has been much talk of Iran’s four seasons; namely, that you can experience all four seasons simultaneously across the country. You can snow-ski, swim, and jet-ski all in one day.
And now, a photo has gone viral on social media in Iran displaying the splendor of its climate even further.
Persia Digest (PD) reports that the Head of Alborz Studies Foundation, Mehrab Rajabi, posted the photo on his social media accounts, saying: “This is a beautiful, telling photo of a mulberry tree on Darvan road, on the borderline of Darvan and Khars. The yellow leaves face north (cooler air) and the green leaves face south (warmer air by a few degrees).”
Alborz Province is in northern Iran. Its provincial capital, Karaj, is at a distance of 20kms from Tehran.
