(Persia Digest) – Iran’s 5th Video Games League opened in Tehran on Saturday afternoon by the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

Six thousand participants from across Iran are competing in eight categories this year.

The users will compete in five foreign game categories and three Iranian game categories.

The preliminary competitions were held in nine cities. The finalists will be competing in Tehran until 30 August and the winners of every category will be sent to international competitions by the Ministry of Sports.
