(Persia Digest) - The Russian Museum of Photography will be staging an exhibition of photos on Iranian historic landscapes, mysterious nature, and architecture from 15-23 September entitled “Beautiful Iran” as one of the most ancient countries in the world with a rich culture and traditions.
The exhibition will be staged by the Iranian Cultural Center affiliated to the IR of Iran Embassy in Moscow in association with the Nizhegorod regional community organization of “Congress of Iranian-Speaking Ethnicities”. The organization is active in conserving and spreading the region’s cultural and historic legacy and expanding human cooperation between Russia and Iran.
Workshops teaching Persian are a lateral part of the exhibition. Forty images by contemporary Iranian photographers will be showcased at the exhibition, displaying the snow-capped mountains of northern Iran, birdseye views of Tehran nights, and mausoleums of great Persian classical poets.
