(Persia Digest) – The cyber security strategic center of Iran has refuted the news of successful cyberattacks on the country’s oil installations and vital infrastructures.

The Center announced: “Based on observations, despite claims by Western media today, no successful cyberattacks have taken place on Iran’s oil installations and other vital infrastructures.”

Reuters claimed this morning that Iran's oil facilities have been hit by cyberattacks.

The Ministry of Oil spokesperson also refuted the claim, saying: “Iran’s oil facilities are operating as usual.”
