France Photography exhibition of floods in Iran

Cannes opens with Asghar Farhadi's film
The 71th Cannes Film Festival opened in France last night with the screening of the film "Everybody Knows" directed by Asghar Farhadi. Farhadi, along with Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and Ricardo Darin, the cast of the film, walked the red carpet last night.

As Farhadi’s new film, “Everybody knows”, opens the Cannes Film Festival tomorrow. Javier Bardem has told AFP: “Farhadi is a realist. I can see and smell Spain and believe this country and its people in his movie.”
Iranian films at 2018 Cannes Film Festival
The 2018 Cannes Film Festival will host films by Iranian filmmakers in several sessions. "Everybody Knows" directed by Asghar Farhadi, which will open the 71st Cannes Film Festival, will be first screened at 20h30 on 8 May. Immediately after the opening ceremony, it will be screened in the competition section at Grand Théâtre Lumière, on Wednesday, 9 May, in two sessions.
