Carpet weaving skills in Fars Province
Rahman Mehraby writes in Destination Iran that the traditional skills of carpet weaving in Fars Province of Iran are the intangible cultural heritage of Iranians in central Iran. This province (Fars or Persia) is considered the region of Narenj-o-Toranj, meaning “Orange and bergamot”. It refers to the traditional motifs as well as the agricultural products of the region.

Gift of Persian carpet for FIFA President
One of the carpets hand woven for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia by Iranian artists with the special cup design has been presented to FIFA President, Infantino, at half-time during the Iran-Spain match. Olive green color of the year in Iranian fashion
Color is a defining factor in design and the choice of clothing. Fashion show reviving Iranian culture
The 7th Fajr International Fashion Festival will take place in Iran in February. New designs and fashions organized by the state are put on show here. Private fashion houses and hotspot have also been active in Iran for long years and have found a footing on the social networks.

Iran’s Fashion and Clothing Working Group Secretary said: “Over the past year and a half, Iranian designers have taken part in 12 international events to gain experience on global fashion.”

2017 Unesco Asia-Pacific Award
The Bushehr Persian Gulf University has won the 2017 Unesco Asia-Pacific Award for New Design in Heritage Contexts.
Two designs from Iran have won the Award, one of which went to the Persian Gulf University in Bushehr.
