“Hafez” manuscripts kept in 150 countries
Manuscripts of collections of poems by 14th-century Persian poet “Hafez” are kept in the museums and libraries of over 150 countries. Ali Sadeghzadeh-Vayghan researches manuscripts. He says manuscripts of Hafez’s works are kept in over 150 countries around the world; these are the oldest manuscripts with the most illuminations available.

See the oldest Persian book
“The Divan of Hafez – An explanation of his poems” is the oldest book in Persian at the Royal Library Museum of the Niavaran Cultural Complex. It will be displayed here for ten days.
This priceless book is an explanation of the sonnets of the renowned 14th century Poet, Hafez, by Mohammad Sudi, Bosnian researcher and translator. It is the oldest Persian book at the Royal Library Museum.

Decoding ancient Persian cup in Russia
Buried in an old wooden house three meters under the ground in a square overlooked by the Moscow Stock Exchange, lay an antique bronze Persian cup belonging to the 16th century. Recently discovered, it displays a poem written by the 14th century Persian mystic and poet Hafez of Shiraz.
The Tomb of Hafez and its memorial hall, the Hāfezieh, are two memorial buildings constructed in Shiraz-Iran, in memory of Khwāja Shams-ud-Dīn Muḥammad ebne Bahauddin Ḥāfeẓ-e Shīrāzī, one of the most legendary poets in Iranian history and a world-famous orator, who was born in Shiraz in 1315 CE and died in 1390 CE (727-792 AH).
