Moradi-Kermani candidate for Lindgren Award
Author Houshang Moradi-Kermani and the mobile libraries of the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in Iran’s rural areas have once again been put forward by the Institute for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. Houshang Moradi-Kermani was selected as a children’s books author and the mobile libraries of the Institute were selected for promoting reading in the rural areas as candidates for the 2019 Award.
“Paris Cultural Week” in Isfahan
Following the “Isfahan Cultural Week” in Paris which was held with eight exhibitions of the arts, architecture, and handicrafts of Iran and a speech given by the mayor of Isfahan at the Assemblée nationale, the mayor has now announced the imminent opening of a “Paris Cultural Week” in Isfahan.
Creator of “Stories of Majid” wins UK award
The First International Conference of the Research Initiative on Teaching Persian Language and Literature at Cambridge University has given a special award to Professor Houshang Moradi Kermani for over 50 years of continuous efforts in developing the Persian language and literature. Moradi Kermani is a contemporary Iranian author mostly known for his children’s books.
