The chartaghi of Iranian scientists outside the UN
To the right-hand side of the main UN entrance in Vienna, an edifice has been erected to commemorate the magnificent achievements of Iranian scientists over the past centuries. This four-centered arch is called chartaghi in Persian. It is constructed as a quadrangle with the statue of a famous Iranian personality underneath each arch.
