Seventeen churches renovated in Iran

Seventeen churches in Iran in need of works are being restored. Iran has numerous churches across the country, many of which have been registered by the Unesco World Heritage Site for their ancient, specific structures. Some of the unregistered ones in need of repairs are also being currently worked on. Restorations have begun on seventeen old churches nationwide; according to the director of World Heritage Center of churches in Iran, 70% of the restoration works has been completed.
