Discovering 8000-year old artifacts in Iran
The project designed to determine the scope of ‘Tappeh Karim” dunes in proximity to the plains of ‘Zahab’ has culminated in the discovery of artifacts, mainly pottery, from the prehistoric periods of Halaf and Ubaid. ‘Dasht-e Zahab’ plain is situated to the northwest of ‘Sarpol-e Zahab’ town in Kermanshah Province in Iran.
