The 2018 Gourmand World Cookbook Award has gone to an Iranian pastry book titled “Cookies” by Samira Janatdoust from Iran. She had previously won awards for her cookery books “Modern Cooking” (2014 & 2015), “Traditional Persian Cooking” (2016), “Traditional Deserts” (2016), and “Cookies”.
