For Paris-Roubaix (April 17), the French group B & B Hotels has received an invitation to participate in Flèche Wallonne (April 20), but it will not be at the start of Liège-Bastogne-Liège (April 24).
For the men, the organizers selected eighteen teams from the UCI World Tour, as well as the Alepcin-Fenix, Arkéa-Samsic and TotalEnergies teams, each of Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, for the title of the top three teams in the UCI ProTeams classification.
The Mur de Huy three times for the women’s peloton during Flèche Wallonne
So B&B, Bingoal-Pauwels-Sauces (BEL), Uno-X Pro Cycling (NOR), Sport Vlaanderen Bâloise for La Flèche, Bingoal, Uno-X, Sport Vlaanderen and Spaniards from Kern Pharma have been added for Doyenne.
As far as the women are concerned, apart from the Women’s World Tour’s sixteen lineups including the FDJ-Nouvelle Aquitaine-Futuroscope, the organizers invited eight more teams for these two Ardennes classics (Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège) with two representatives of France initially: Arkéa Pro Cycling Team and Cofidis Women’s Team.
For the first time, the women’s peloton will have to climb the Mur de Huy three times during the 2022 edition of Flèche Wallonne.
