The city of Obertauern in Austria was literally flooded due to snowfall that lasted for more than 24 hours.The resort is an Austrian ski resort located above the Radstadt Tauern mountain range in the Salzburg region. Equipped with more than 100 kilometres of slopes and 26 ski lifts, and extending between 1,000 and 2,526 metres above sea level, it is suitable for alpine skiing and Nordic skiing.
