One person was killed and four others were wounded in an airstrike by Russian forces on Kyiv tonight: Ukrainian anti-aircraft guns shot down a hitherto unknown number of Russian missiles and drones, the debris of which caused damage to several buildings. This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, on Telegram.
Loud explosions were also heard from the air raid shelter of the hotel where Ansa is staying.
“In the Podil district, the body of a deceased person was found while extinguishing a fire in an apartment building,” Klitschko wrote on Telegram.
“In the Darnitsky district, the facade of a residential building was destroyed by falling debris,” the mayor added. In addition, “a fire broke out on the veranda of a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. All services are working on site.”
Then Klitschko explained that two people were taken to the hospital in the Darnitsky district and two more were treated immediately in the Shevchenkivsky district.
