Armagnac present at the agricultural fair
Armagnac, with the team of the National Bureau Interprofessionnel de l’Armagnac, (BNIA) is very present at the Salon de l’Agiculture 2022 with regional and administrative exhibitors such as the Ministry and Chamber of Agriculture in Gers, Lot -et- Garonne and Landes, but also the Occitanie and New Aquitaine region .
Entertainment, ammonia tastings and private master classes are organized by Maeva Fedun, Director of Promotion and Olivier Goujon, Director of BNIA, over several days at SIA 2022.
New, BNIA and armagnac have also found a place in the institutional stands of the French Federation of Spirits, recently shown at SIA 2022, as well as in the wine pavilion organized by CNIV (National Committee for Wine Professions), a professional organization responsible for ensuring the proper development of the wine sector and their representation with decision makers public at the national and societal levels.
At the pavilion of the French Federation of Souls, we are pleased to welcome Armagnac “a symbol of the art of living and the distinction of French knowledge characterized by the qualitative and quantitative importance of its production. The Federation states: “Armagnac shines in three distinct regions (Hauts-Armagnac, Bas-Armagnac and Armagnac-Tinares), in the provinces of Landes, Gires and Lot-e-Garonne, overlapping near New Aquitaine. In this area, designated by AOC Armagnac since 1936, the Romans introduced the vine, the consonantal Arabs and the Celts, modulating the color, roundness, and aroma of this “burning oil.”
As for Patrick Farbus, President of BNIArmagnac, he noted that “at a time of strong dynamics in our production area, we have responded to the call of many regional and administrative organizations, as well as national bodies to promote our emblematic spirits and the AOC. We defend our interests with elected representatives in France and at the level Together with our teams during this week, I am committed to working on outreach to the general public and institutional communication of our beautiful fragrance.”
