Like previous Pixar movies,”Turning Red’ also includes an Easter egg about one of its ancestors, in this case from Toy Story.. The film premiered exclusively on Disney+ on March 11, becoming the third Pixar movie to be released on the platform only.
“Red” follows 13-year-old Melin Lee and her life as a student, fan of the 4*Town squad, and great helper for her mother, Ming (Sandra Oh), at the temple they run in Toronto. His life changes after a quarrel with his mother, when he realizes that if he feels strong feelings, he will turn into a red panda.

The Planet Pizza Truck appears “red” as it appears in most Pixar films. When Mai realized that she didn’t want to forget her red panda look, she abandoned the ritual and ran across Toronto to get to SkyDome, where she performs 4*Town.
As Mai is heading to the show venue, we see her passing through a street full of cars. The Toy Story truck can be seen at the hour, 11 minutes and 22 seconds of the film.

The Planet Pizza Truck has been found in every Disney Pixar movie except for “The Incredibles.” She made her debut in the first Pixar movie “Toy Story” in 1995, where she turned out to be a vehicle for Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
In “Toy Story 2” the car was also important to the story, as it was used by Buzz and Mr. Potato Head, Slink, Hamm and Rex to follow and rescue Woody.
