Father George, another criticism of Pope Francis: ‘What am I looking for’

Monsignor Georg Ganswein, who recently ended his office as ruler of the papal house, has returned to attack Pope Francis. The father who was for a long time the private secretary of Pope Emeritus Joseph Ratzinger who passed away last December and stayed with him until the last moment, on the occasion of the presentation of his book Nothing but the Truth in Kirchzarten, the locality near Freiburg, where he now resides, cast an inscription on the Pope: “Now I’m here, looking for work, so to speak …”. Gaenswein, 66, does not have a job at the moment, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung writes.

The Holy Father’s decision on Pope Benedict XVI’s fidelity was announced last June 15 with a cold statement published by the Vatican press office: “The Pope has arranged for the return of Monsignor Georg Ganswein, for the time being, to his native diocese, at Freiburg in Germany.” In mid-May Gänswein also rendered service at Freiburg Minster.
