Hamas publishes a video of the two hostages in Gaza, American Keith Siegel and Israeli Omri Miran

Hamas hostage video

In the video, according to what was also published by journalist Barak Ravid from Axios, on the X website, there are pictures of two hostages who are apparently still alive. The first, he explained, was Keith Segal, also an American citizen, who was transferred to Kibbutz Kfar Aza. The second is Omri Miran, who was kidnapped on October 7 from Kibbutz Nir Oz. Pope Francis recently received the latter's sister, along with other families, in the Vatican.

Both of them, who are very hardworking, talk about the “severe situation” due to the bombings in the Strip and speak with words of “love for their family.” In what Hamas wrote, it claims that the “killing” of dozens of hostages in the Israeli raids “prevented others from celebrating the Jewish Passover with their loved ones.” The kidnappers appeal to the Israeli government to participate in the negotiations to reach an agreement to release them. At the same time, they call on their family members to pressure them by demonstrating for their release. The same video shows clips of statements by Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which they talk about the necessity of military pressure to release the hostages. Israel has always defined Hamas videos as “psychological propaganda,” and as a rule, such images are not published. The publication of the video by Hamas comes shortly after the start of protests in Israel by families of the kidnapped against the government to urge positive negotiations.
