The jurors spoke: Bill Cosby was found guilty of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl for actions that occurred at a Playboy mansion in 1975. The plaintiff, Judy Huth, who filed the complaint in 2014, claims she was called by a friend of hers before star Cosby Show In a park, the latter then takes them to the Playboy mansion where the attack took place.
The 84-year-old actor denied the charges claiming in his defense that he does not remember the victim, adding that he would not have initiated a sexual relationship with a minor. However, the jury determined that Bill Cosby, who was 37 years old at the time, was only aware that he was dealing with a minor.

The complaint was filed in a civil lawsuit, and Bill Cosby was ordered to pay Judy Huth $500,000 in damages. However, the amount is well below the $8 million that the plaintiff’s attorney Gloria Allred initially demanded, while the actor’s defense has already announced that he will appeal the ruling.
Despite everything, Judy Huth’s attorney welcomes the outcome of this trial. “We are honored to be representing her. I would like to thank all the women who have spoken out over the years and refused to remain silent in the face of what they know to be injustice and sexual abuse by a man of authority… We are proud of Miss Hoth and our victory over Bill Cosby,” Gloria Allred said in a statement quoted guardian. So far, Bill Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by more than 50 women. He was convicted in the case of Andrea Konstand, but the court overturned the sentence.
