Eliminating the sunken Bar பார்a against Frankfurt

Eintracht was knocked out (3-2) by FC Barcelona after a draw in Camp Nou in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Frankfurt this Thursday. Xavier’s team could not be identified despite a late start, having failed in 15 games before this meeting.

Barசாa missed its title. Unbeaten since January 20, Xavier’s side lost 1-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt (3-2) in the Europa League quarter-finals on Thursday.

Already shaken last week in Germany, the Catalan team was quickly taken aback by its opponent. After conceding three penalties against Levante last Sunday, FC Barcelona made a mistake in their area in the third minute, where Eric Garcia caught Jasper Lindstrom. Philip Gostic took charge of the conversion with a shot from the left.

Frankfurt did not change its purpose, as Ousmane Dembélé caused many instances, such as the crucifixion of Pierre-Emerick Abamayang (9th). Rafael Santos Bore, not subject to a defensive attack, scored the break goal with a magnificent strike from 25 meters (36th).

Despite holding the ball, the Plugrana club had a hard time getting clear chances. At Dembélé’s new cross, Aubameyang completely missed the target (48th) when he was alone before the goal. Capones got another hot chance from the French international, but Kevin Troop intervened (54th).

Marc-André ter Stegen left his team alive by thwarting Jesper Lindstrøm (57th) attempt. Barசாa may have been fined for a blunder committed in that area (60th), but the referee, after consulting with video aid, did not budge.

Woke up too late for Barசாa

Particularly inactive in defense due to the absence of Gerard Pique and Daniel Alves, the Plugrana club started with a touchdown (67th) and sank into an active, where Gostic had plenty of time to adjust his strike for his double. Xavi tried to switch to a three-man guard, but his soldiers continued to suffer and fetch water.

At the end of the match, there may be some regret that Barcelona took more time. The video referee refused to score for Sergio Busquets (89th), who was initially offside. The midfielder pushed the ball into the back of the net after an off-center free kick, where he took advantage of a small fight. But Busquets deserved not to give up, dropping the score with an amazing volley outside the area (90th). At the end of nine minutes of extra time, Memphis Debbie received a 3-2 penalty after a mistake by Ivan Ndika in Luke de Jong. But the final whistle blew after the Dutchman’s conversion.

For Barசாa, who have returned to the Europa League this season after enjoying elimination at the end of the group stage in the Champions League, disappointment is inevitable after their ninth defeat at the Bundesliga. Petri came out especially during the break with a thigh injury and was replaced by Frankie de Zhang.
