Apple just made macOS 12 Monterey available for download in a fifth beta to registered developers. This new beta version comes two weeks after the previous beta version was distributed. Final updates for all Apple systems will be distributed to all users in the fall. It is unknown what innovations the latest beta version of macOS Monterey will bring with it.
Apple just made macOS 12 Monterey Beta 5 available to registered developers. All registered developers can now download and install the new beta. If your new beta isn’t showing up on your Mac, wait a moment, as the distribution will be in waves as usual.
To start downloading and installing the new beta, the Software updates area of the system settings should be called up. The new beta version comes two weeks after the previous beta version was distributed.
macOS 12 Monterey brings focus and shortcuts to your Mac
By updating to macOS 12 Monterey, Apple is bringing, among other things, the new Focus function for more efficient management of notifications to your Mac. Additionally, features like Live Text to recognize text in images and the Shortcuts app will be brought to your Mac. Safari gets a new design, which is still controversial among developers and testers.
Recently, Apple invited developers to test the public beta of new updates in the latest version. All major Apple release updates will be available for free download to all users in the fall.
