In 2009 Simon Thumala and Silvio Heinfetter met and fell in love, and lived life together for twelve years. Now the surprising news: the couple broke up.
“We broke up by mutual agreement a few months ago and are still friends,” Simon Thomalla, 56, and Silvio Heinfetter, 36, said when Bild asked them and confirmed their love affair.

Their love story began in 2009 when Thomala asked for a photo of the handball player. Despite the age difference of nearly 20 years, they stayed together and showed the world how happy they are. You famous actress is the goalkeeper of the national handball team.

But nothing can differentiate the two – not even the different personalities. “He doesn’t have an easy time with me,” the actress admitted in an interview with “Bunte.” “I’m a difficult person, I can be uncomfortable. Mood swings can be severe in a day.” Thomalla is from Aries and therefore has “horns”. On the other hand, Heinevetter is a Libra and he’s only afraid in the field. “Otherwise it’s balanced in the best sense of the word. It’s my foundation. The perfect balance for me,” she said excitedly about her lover in January.
The dreamy couple has had a long-distance relationship since 2020: Silvio Heinevetter moved to Kassel, where he plays for MT Melsungen. Simone Thomalla commutes between her hometown of Berlin and Bavaria, where she regularly appears in front of the camera for the popular ZDF series “Frühling”.
