UEFA EURO 2024 match schedule approved | About UEFA

The UEFA Executive Committee met today in Vienna and approved the schedule of matches for the final tournament UEFA EURO 2024, which will take place in ten cities across Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024.

The opening match will take place at the Fussball Arena in Munich and the final will be held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

For the first time, sustainability was included as a criterion in the tournament regulations, thus, three groups of stadiums were created: “North / Northwest” (Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig), “West” (Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Cologne) and “ South” (Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart).

Matches in each group will be played across only two sets of stadiums, reducing travel distances for teams and fans between host cities, and allowing team delegations to travel by train or bus from their base camps for the match during the group stage.

The committee also approved the full tournament regulations, which will be available on UEFA.com on May 16.
