UK: Spacey faces charges of sexual harassment

Allegations of sexual harassment against Hollywood actor Spacey first surfaced in 2017. Now the British Attorney’s Office has taken steps to indicate that allegations of sexual harassment of three men in four categories will be announced soon.

Fallen Hollywood star Kevin Spacey faces four charges of sexually assaulting three men. The British prosecutor has announced that he has authorized the police to file formal charges against the American actor. Spacey has also been accused of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without permission.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the ‘House of Cards’ star if a crime is approved. Spacey, who is currently out of the UK, will be “formally charged later,” police said.

The events are said to have taken place in London between March 2005 and August 2008 and in the western part of the UK in April 2013. A spokesman for the prosecutor’s office said the allegations were made by reviewing evidence gathered by London police.

Spacey’s life has been suspended since 2017

The alleged victims are now in their 30s and 40s. Spacey was questioned by British police in 2019 after several men were charged. Those individuals accused him of assault. The 62-year-old former ‘House of Cards’ star hosted the Old Wick Theater in London from 2004 to 2015. Space has won two Oscars. His career has been on hold since 2017.

At the time, actor Anthony Robb was accused of raping himself at a party in the 1980s. Spacey has denied the allegations and is currently trying to dismiss Robbin’s civil case in New York. On Thursday he testified in New York on the process, which is about practical issues. He and his lawyers did not respond to questions from reporters about the new allegations.
