Bordeaux (AFP) – Three days after winning 2-2 in the Champions League at Leipzig, Paris Saint-Germain celebrated their eleventh win of the season in the league.
Even without Argentine superstar Lionel Messi, who was again absent due to thigh problems, Paris Saint-Germain scored a 3-2 (2-0) victory over Girondins Bordeaux. With 34 points, the capital club easily tops the French Ligue 1 table.
Neymar (min. 26/43) and Kylian Mbappe (63) scored the two goals for the French Cup winners in Bordeaux. Albert Ellis (78) and Mbaye Niang (90 + 2) scored a goal for the hosts.
Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio changed his starting lineup in several positions after the Premier League draw. For example, German national footballers Thelo Kehrer and Julian Draxler as well as former Bayern Munich player Juan Bernat have played from the start.
