Bad news for fans of RTL’s annual ‘People, Pictures, Emotions’ report: Moderator Günther Jauch (65) puts an end to successful formatting!
25 years ago, the TV veteran first hosted the popular show, taking you through the ups and downs of the year in a charming and funny way. Jauch will also present the format on December 5th – but for him it will be the last version. The 65-year-old is now announcing this in the current RTL trailer.
RTL confirmed the moderation of Gauch, at the request of the media service DWDL.

However, the decision should not have any impact on other programs run by Günther Jauch for RTL.
Next Sunday, on a four-hour livestream with Gunther Gautsch, it will be “People, Photos, Emotions” about everything that moved us this year – from the pandemic to the flood disaster to the Taliban’s takeover of power in Afghanistan.
It is not yet known who celebrities and non-celebrity guests will be greeted by the presenter in the studio.
