Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today launched a call for Palestinian “unity” against Israel at the conclusion of his meeting with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Istanbul, during which, according to the official TRT channel, they discussed efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.
