If this year’s edition remains entirely digital, the 2022 edition should return to San Francisco in March.
The health situation we’ve already known about for over a year has affected quite a few tech conferences and video games still going into 2021. Indeed, almost all of the events have been held remotely, in free online and open-to-all versions. However, a large number of organizers will already see themselves rolling out the red carpet from next year and once again presenting face-to-face exhibitions.
It is with Game Developers ConferenceA show dedicated to gaming professionals and one of the unmissable events for the gaming community. Organizers have already announced the return of the show from March 21-25, 2022 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
Already back face to face?
This is a rather optimistic return, given that the state of the epidemic is not yet good if we stick to the expectations of the international scientific body. However, this is not the only show focused on rehabilitating physical events because the European Space Agency is also planning to bring E3 back to Los Angeles next summer. While awaiting official confirmation in the coming months from regulators, it is still left to follow.
At the moment, the 2021 edition is taking place completely virtual from July 19-23, so there’s still time to get involved! Feel free to review the registration procedures to participate in the event directly on the . website GDC.
