Indonesian developer Ozysoft, the team behind psychological horror bolang madness (Available on Steam) Today announced Project Buramato, an all-new adventure platformer with releases for PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, PC and Switch slated for release in late 2022.

Project Buramato draws its thematic influences and art style from Bornean Folktales, and based on its trailer—which you can check out above—there’s plenty of Genshin Impact and Xenoblade in the mix here too.

According to the developer, this 3D shooter/platformer game is fast-paced, and played from a third-person perspective with minimal storytelling and an atmospheric focus.

With an alpha beta prototype slated for release later this year, Project Buramato definitely looks promising from its trailer, and we really can’t wait to jump in here to explore the semi-open environments in the Land of Old Lords.
