Rome, September 28. – (Adnkronos) – President Marco Gionio De Sanctis has been installed at the head of the Italian Bocce Federation (Fib), obtaining 64.98% of the preferences expressed by the voting delegates, who arrived at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Chianciano Terme, in the province of Siena National Electoral Assembly. The new Federal Council is formed as follows: Roberto Favre (114 votes), Francesco del Vecchio (110), Lorenzo della Bella (109), Corrado Tiche (103), Marco Ziraldo (101), Claudio Vitino (91) and Orietta Calonego. (52) represent the affiliates, Riccarda Ambrosi 20, Flavio Stani 20 represent the athletes, and Francesca Di Folco 25 represent the coaches. Lorenzo Cinglo was confirmed as Chairman of the Board of Auditors by 210 votes. Moreno Rosati with 87 votes (the seat was ceded to the pink quota) and Alessandro Bianchi with 74 votes were not elected. 71.94% of those entitled to vote attended, equivalent to 259 out of 360 delegates entitled to vote.

Today there is a strongly renewed council, chosen by the voting public of the bowling world. As I mentioned, I am accustomed to working with everyone and I have no problem in dealing with those who have been elected. At the end of the National Electoral Assembly, reappointed President Sanctis convened the first Federal Council for the term of 2025-2028, wishing all the new Council members good work, four from the previous Council and six new ones, highlighting some aspects of the electoral program with the objectives to be achieved. During the same period, Vice-Presidents Roberto Favre (Deputy) and Riccarda Ambrosi were appointed. Secretary General Ricardo Milana has been reappointed for a specific term determined by the President, and Dr. Paola Valle has been reappointed as Deputy Secretary General. Furthermore, the Federal Council appointed three of the four regional coordinators: Francesco Forlani (North-East), Vincenzo Santucci (Centre), and Antonio Barbato (South).
