Developers can also download Beta 4 from tvOS 15

Apple also distributed tvOS 15 Beta 4 to registered developers tonight. The new version of tvOS offers, as a new functionality, the ability to sign in to an online account using Touch ID or Face ID on iPhone. The final update will appear to all users in the fall.

Tuesday evening brought the fourth beta of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS Monterey, and watchOS 8, as well as the fourth beta of tvOS 15. This new beta build follows the previous two-week beta distribution and can now be downloaded by all registered developers and installers.

tvOS 15 will be available as a final update for the fourth, fifth and sixth generation of Apple TV devices.

Minor improvements in the new tvOS 15 beta

As a rule, there are no notable innovations or changes within beta versions of a new version of tvOS or within the regular updates within a major release. Thus, the latest beta 4 of tvOS 15 will basically increase the overall performance, stability and security of tvOS.

tvOS 15 provides, among other things, surround sound for AirPods Pro and AirPods Max users, assuming appropriate content, and adds a feature to sign in to online accounts using iPhone with Touch ID or Face ID.
