The famous Pokémon has been the subject of recent debate, with many wondering if Shiny Seel is in Pokémon GO?
Seel is one of the next Pokémon to get the Spotlight Hour treatment in Pokémon GO, and every week one of the most frequently asked questions is whether the featured option has a shiny look. When there is such an influx of eggs for a Pokémon, it’s always helpful to see if there’s a chance of something like Shiny Seel.
The Spotlight Hours always lasts 1 hour, and there will be almost an infinite number of Pokemon. It is basically a less formal community day with no particular research. Unlike Community Days, there is no guaranteed brilliance, and no alternate color will be available for many distinct Pokémon.
Pokémon GO – is there a shiny theme?
The good news for Seel fans in Pokémon GO is that Shiny Seel is in the game, every Pokémon in the Kanto region, and all of the 151 original entries in the Pokédex, have a shiny skin available to catch. This became an absolute across the board when the Kanto Tour took off in 2021.
Of course, this includes Seel and the second form of Dewgong. Normal Seel is a very light gray in Pokémon, and this color also applies to evolution. In this opportunity, you will find Shiny in Pokémon GO, Seel will appear as a light yellow shade instead of the usual gray.

When you spot Seel in the game, you don’t need to catch him to see if you have a shiny version. Just click on the pokemon and start the confrontation to get all the information you need. This is especially useful on something like a Spotlight watch where moving from one encounter to the next is important.
It will save you checking PokéBalls encounters, but it can also save you time when using a lure of any kind. Activating Incense Lures or Poké Stop Lures is integral to increasing your chances of finding Shiny Seel as long as the Pokemon is spinning.
The Last Hour of Lights for May in Pokémon GO
After the Seel Spotlight Hour ends on May 24, there’s another one you can expect at the end of the month. Spotlight hours are always on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM local time. This schedule almost never changes.
The June 2022 lineup has yet to be revealed, but we do know that the last hour of May will feature Pikipek. Fans of these watches can look forward to May 31st for a chance at Pikipek and its developments.
