Lisa de Black Pink Positivo and Covid Jenny, Rosie, Jisoo

On Wednesday morning, YG Entertainment announced that K-pop girl group BLACKPINK’s Lisa had tested positive for Covid-19 and that the rest of the members were still waiting for their test results.

A couple of days ago, Lisa was in the US promoting the single “SG” with Ozuna, DJ Snake and Megan Thee Stallion and was once seen in a nightclub, but it should be noted that Lisa was wearing a mask.

The Statement posted on NaverHe says the following:

“This is YG Entertainment. BLACKPINK’s Lisa was diagnosed with COVID-19 on the afternoon of the 24th. The other three BLACKPINK members were not classified as close contacts, but once Lisa was notified that she tested positive for COVID-19, they were tested. They wait. Results offline.

First, we have taken extensive preventive measures that go beyond health authorities’ guidelines by quickly and accurately sharing relevant information with stakeholders. Going forward, we will spare no effort to support the health of our artists and staff around us as a top priority. If there are any changes in the future, we will notify you as soon as possible.”

BLACKPINK’s Jenny, Jisoo and Rosé were also tested

So far, Lisa has not commented on the matter, but she is expected to release a statement soon via her Instagram account to her more than 67 million followers.

Similarly, the other three members of BLACKPINK (Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo) are awaiting their results and it is likely that YG Entertainment (BLACKPINK’s agency and artists such as: G-Dragon, BIGBANG, and iKON) will launch a connection where the other members’ health status will be reported or updated.
