Lorenz Lite Technique is lagging behind

Consolidated sales of the Lucibel Group for the first half of 2021 amounted to € 5.05 million, an increase of +2% compared to the first half of 2020. This development varies greatly according to activities.

Lucibel SA, which operates in the third markets, recorded an increase in activity by +13%, to 3.13 ME, thanks to the resumption of the trade dynamism already observed in early 2020, but stopped by the health crisis. Hallier’s operations, specializing in museum lighting, saw its turnover increase +51%, to 1.05 ME. Lucibelle Paris, a group subsidiary responsible for marketing cosmetic solutions using LED technology, has seen revenue growth of over 48% compared to the first half of 2020. Lorenz Light Technic has declined, and the subsidiary continues to operate in the large-scale distribution segment. Broad affected by the health crisis in the first half of 2021. Its turnover in the first half of 2021 decreased by -64% compared to the first half of 2020 (391 kE vs. 1.092 ME)

Predictions for the second semester

Sales growth recorded for most of the group’s activities should continue, although Lorenz Light Technic’s activity continues to slow. In addition, in the very promising LiFi area, new installations implemented during the first half of 2021, notably within the Chalucet real estate complex in Toulon and the Grand Voyageur SNCF in the Gare de Lyon in Paris, show that demand is growing from semester to semester study. Deployment of this technology is expected to be accelerated during 2022 after the completion, scheduled for May 2022, of drafting a standard protocol governing light communication protocols globally. Finally, the promising launch, in June 2021, of the cosmetic mask OVE, marketed by Lucibelle Paris, should allow to accelerate the commercial dynamics of this activity.
