Many years after the defeat, AC Milan became the Serie A champions again.
In the 2010/11 season, AC Milan last won the Serie A Championship. Famous world stars like Robinho (38), Gennaro Gattuso (44), Alessandro Nesta (46), Andrea Pirlo (43), Clarence Seedorf (46) or Mark Von Pommel (45) Was part of the team.
On Sunday evening (May 22, 2022), Rossoneri finally got back to Scudetto with a 3-0 win over Sassuolo Calcio. Double Olivier Giroud (35) and Frank Kessie (25) banged early to secure first place in the final match table. As with the 2010/11 season, someone played a key role in winning the title: Storm icon Sladen Ibrahimovic (40).

The Swedish player may have fielded as a substitute yesterday and had to deal with multiple injuries throughout the season, but he managed eight goals and three assists in 23 games in the league. Serie A, but also acted as an extension of coach Stefano Pioli (56). At yesterday’s dinner – and no wonder he declared himself God in the usual Ibra manner.
After the trophy was handed out, King Sladen performed his own show, bringing a large bottle of champagne and a cigar into the stadium. The celebration of “Ibragatapra” and many of the fans who traveled with him did not matter what happened elsewhere: while stepping on the lawn, the superstar treated every spectator in his vicinity to a shower of formal champagne and then threw a bottle. He took a long pull away from his cigar.

Spectacular Championship Celebration: AC Milan Cathedral Square Fans Beat Sasuco
With the victory over Sassuolo, AC Milan won the Italian Championship by beating City rivals Inter Milan in a long distance battle. Record champion Juventus Turin have been relegated to fourth place for the second time in a row, as Inter, last year’s champions, beat Samperia Genoa 3-0, not enough to overtake Rosenori.
While AC, led by its outreach star Ibrahimovic, was already celebrating its title victory in Sassuolo, tens of thousands of supporters entered Cathedral Square in Milan to celebrate their heroes. The official celebration of the championship team will take place on Monday (May 23) with fans as they drive through the city on an open top bus. (G)
