The dates vary for different grape varieties and sections, namely Aube, Marne or Haute-Marne. It’s much later than 2020, as its summer was marked by sweltering heat.

One of the first lessons on this calendar is that dawn will open the harvest ball. We started harvesting there from September 6 for some lands, and starting September 11 we will harvest everywhere in the department. Crops will primarily interest Pinot Noir and Meunier.
